Nigerian Singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known by his stage name, Rema, has made a appeal to his teeming fans to stop comparing him with his senior colleagues in the industry.
Rema in a tweet, stated that afrobeat is a movement whose growth requires the support and unity of all not comparison. He wrote;
My win is YOUR win, Afrobeat is a movement & we need all the support we can get. The comparisons between me & my heroes are unnecessary, let’s stop bringing down our own. Let’s celebrate where Afrobeat is at today and focus on where it will be tomorrow, God bless you all.

Actor, Idris Elba has been seen in London for the first time since recovering from his battle with coronavirus. The 47-year-old, along with his wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba, 30, tested positive for a ‘very mild’ strain of the coronavirus in March but has now fully recovered. Idris was spotted enjoying a walk near his home on Saturday, after he and wife Sabrina returned from self-isolating in New Mexico last month, where Elba was filming when he became ill. Putting on a casual display for the outing, the Luther star looked relaxed as he strolled through his neighbourhood as part of his daily exercise during lockdown. Federal Government receives $311m Abacha loot from US and Bailiwick of Jersey

In new trending reports, the Federal government has received the sum of $311,797,866.11 which is the third tranche of the former head of state, late General Sani Abacha loot, from the United States and the Bailiwick of Jersey. Attorney-General of Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, revealed this in a statement released earlier today May 4th, 2020 by his Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations, Dr Umar Gwandu. According to Malami, the amount increased significantly from over $308 million mentioned in an earlier statement in February to over $311million as a result of the interest that accrued from February 3 to April 28, when the fund was transferred to the Central Bank of Nigeria. Malami stated that the latest recovery would support and assist in expediting the construction of three major infrastructure projects across Nigeria – Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, Abuja – Kano Road, and the Second Niger Bridge. President  Muhammadu Buhari   has ordered a total lockdown of Kano State. This comes after a number of mysterious deaths in the past two weeks rocked the ancient city.
