Princess Sofia of Sweden has started working as a healthcare assistant in a hospital to help fight Coronavirus in her country.




The Duchess of Värmland, 35, who is married to Prince Carl Philip, 40, reportedly took a three-day medical course at Sophiahemmet University College in Stockholm before she was given a go-ahead.
According to reports, Sophiahemmet University College is training up to 80 people a week to help fight the pandemic, which has infected 11,927 in and killed 1203 people in the country.


Pictures shared by Daily Mail show her posing with other staff members at the Sophiahemmet hospital, who all maintained social distancing.
The former Swedish model became part of the Swedish royal family in 2015, after marrying Carl Phillip, who is the son of King Carl Gustaf.
Her husband, Prince Carl-Phillip is fourth in line to the throne, after his sister Crown Princess Victoria, and his niece and nephew Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar.

Actor, Idris Elba has been seen in London for the first time since recovering from his battle with coronavirus. The 47-year-old, along with his wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba, 30, tested positive for a ‘very mild’ strain of the coronavirus in March but has now fully recovered. Idris was spotted enjoying a walk near his home on Saturday, after he and wife Sabrina returned from self-isolating in New Mexico last month, where Elba was filming when he became ill. Putting on a casual display for the outing, the Luther star looked relaxed as he strolled through his neighbourhood as part of his daily exercise during lockdown. Federal Government receives $311m Abacha loot from US and Bailiwick of Jersey

In new trending reports, the Federal government has received the sum of $311,797,866.11 which is the third tranche of the former head of state, late General Sani Abacha loot, from the United States and the Bailiwick of Jersey. Attorney-General of Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, revealed this in a statement released earlier today May 4th, 2020 by his Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations, Dr Umar Gwandu. According to Malami, the amount increased significantly from over $308 million mentioned in an earlier statement in February to over $311million as a result of the interest that accrued from February 3 to April 28, when the fund was transferred to the Central Bank of Nigeria. President  Muhammadu Buhari   has ordered a total lockdown of Kano State. This comes after a number of mysterious deaths in the past two weeks rocked the ancient city.
