Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Buhari, died on Friday April 17, weeks after testing positive for Coronavirus.
Kyari tested positive in Abuja and was moved to Lagos for further medical attention but unfortunately passed away weeks later.
Nigerians including Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state, Dino Melaye, Ben Bruce. Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika, and many others have taken to social media to mourn and react to Kyari’s death.

Actor, Idris Elba Stepping Out For First Time After Recovering From Coronavirus (Photos)

Actor, Idris Elba has been seen in London for the first time since recovering from his battle with coronavirus. The 47-year-old, along with his wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba, 30, tested positive for a ‘very mild’ strain of the coronavirus in March but has now fully recovered. Idris was spotted enjoying a walk near his home on Saturday, after he and wife Sabrina returned from self-isolating in New Mexico last month, where Elba was filming when he became ill. Putting on a casual display for the outing, the Luther star looked relaxed as he strolled through his neighbourhood as part of his daily exercise during lockdown. Idris wore a simple black logo T-shirt that fit loosely on his torso, and which he paired with faded denim jeans. Federal Government receives $311m Abacha loot from US and Bailiwick of Jersey

In new trending reports, the Federal government has received the sum of $311,797,866.11 which is the third tranche of the former head of state, late General Sani Abacha loot, from the United States and the Bailiwick of Jersey. Attorney-General of Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, revealed this in a statement released earlier today May 4th, 2020 by his Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations, Dr Umar Gwandu. According to Malami, the amount increased significantly from over $308 million mentioned in an earlier statement in February to over $311million as a result of the interest that accrued from February 3 to April 28, when the fund was transferred to the Central Bank of Nigeria. Malami stated that the latest recovery would support and assist in expediting the construction of three major infrastructure projects across Nigeria – Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, Abuja – Kano Road, and the Second Niger Bridge. President Buhari Orders Total Lockdown Of Kano State

President  Muhammadu Buhari   has ordered a total lockdown of Kano State. This comes after a number of mysterious deaths in the past two weeks rocked the ancient city. Buhari , in his Monday night address to the nation, said “With regards to Kano, I have directed the enforcement of a total lockdown for a period of two weeks effective immediately. “The Federal Government shall deploy all the necessary human, material and technical resources to support the State in controlling and containing the pandemic and preventing the risk of further spread to neighbouring States. “I wish to once again, commend the frontline workers across the country who, on a daily basis, risk everything to ensure we win this fight.
