Serie A to resume on June 20 following Italian government approval

Protocol includes rule that clubs must put their whole team and staff on two-week quarantine period should any person from group test positive for COVID-19 Serie A will resume on June 20 after the Italian government gave its approval on Thursday. After a short and decisive conference meeting featuring Italian sports minister Vincenzo Spadafora, the Lega Serie A and Italian Football Federation presidents, and representatives from the Players' Association and the Association of Italian Sports Medics, a decision to resume the top-flight in Italy was taken. Serie A was the first of Europe's major leagues to be affected by the coronavirus pandemic, with games postponed and played behind closed doors before the league was halted completely. The Italian Football Federation will decide on the time frames for Serie A games but it is expected that teams will play every three days across three different time slots: at 5pm, 7.15pm, and 9.30pm (Italian time). ”She’s a liar!!” – Cynthia Morgan’s former manager, Joy Tongo releases official statement

Joy Tongo, the former manager of embattled singer, Cynthia Morgan has documents to prove some incidents she said happened, prior to parting ways with the dancehall singer. Joy Tongo disclosed that the dancehall star began performing at shows outside of her and Jude Okoye’s approval and awareness after her breakthrough song “I’m taken”. She also revealed that she drafted the drafted the contract Cynthia Morgan signed, not Jude Okoye. Tongo backed  Jude Okoye’s claim of paying Cynthia Morgan’s rent  and also giving her money to buy a land for her mother in Benin. Joy Tongo also affirmed that there is nothing in the contract that stated that Jude Okoye or Northside Music would assume ownership of the singer’s legal name, royalties and social media accounts as was widely purported by Cynthia Morgan. Regina Daniels took to her insta story yesterday to show off a photo of the new tattoo she got for herself. Her mother went emotional moment she saw it was actually her name that her daughter tattooed on her back Her mum reacting to this, replied the story saying,  “Oh my, please you’re making me cry now” Rita Daniels then went ahead to rain showers of heavenly prayers and blessings on her daughter. “I shall forever stand by you my precious pride, by the grace of God almighty. Leicester City and Super Eagles player Wilfred Ndidi, has narrated his childhood struggles and how he sold fruit for his mum to feed the family Born and raised in Lagos, Ndidi, whose father was a soldier, said he had to battle through selling fruits on the streets of Lagos while navigating his father’s ”hostility” towards his football aspirations. According to the 23-year-old Ndidi, he had to help his mum sell fruits and food in order to sustain the family while he kept playing football and hoping for a breakthrough. Ndidi rose to prominence featuring for Nigeria at the 2013 Fifa U20 World Cup in Turkey before he was signed by Genk of Belgium, then in 2017 he joined Leicester city for £17m and he is now one of the first names on the team sheet for both club and country. A Pregnant Coronavirus Patient has been successfully delivered of a bouncing baby boy in Lagos State. The good news was announced by the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and he revealed that both Mother and Child are doing well. His word; I bring you great news from our isolation facilities. Rapper, Falz defends female immigration officers who were punished for partaking in his viral Bop daddy challenge.

Nigerian Lawyer, Actor and Rapper, Folarin Falana, popularly known by his stage name, Falz has written the Nigerian Immigration Service after the agency punitively posted five female officers who went viral after partaking in his Bop Daddy Challenge while dressed in their uniforms. In a move that elicited outcry from Nigerians on social media, the NIS had queried the officers for causing the agency “a lot of embarrassment.” The ladies in the viral #BopDaddy video, Priscilla Irabor, Catherine J. Bakura, Blessing Alfred Udida, Binti I. Attabor and Ockiya Eneni were subsequently redeployed to states where insurgency and banditry are rife.
